AWT (Air World Travel) fue fundada en 2003. Se trata de una compañía 100% privada y registrada bajo las leyes mercantiles de Brasil. Estableció su matriz en São Paulo, el mayor centro de negocios de Sudamérica, ofreciendo servicios de alta calidad a las aerolíneas y a la industria de viajes de manera general.

Ya consolidada en 2009 en Brasil, inició su expansión en Latinoamérica, con registro bajo las legislaciones de cada uno de estos paises, vino la inauguración de las oficinas en Argentina y Uruguay.

En 2011 para continuar con el crecimiento inauguramos las oficinas en Ecuador, Paraguay y Perú y mas tarde en 2012 en Panamá (el primer país de AWT en América Central), Venezuela, Miami (Estados Unidos) y la creación de la AWT HKG (joint-venture junto a Air Express Ldt. HKG).

En 2013 Iniciamos de las actividades en el sector de cargas en joint-venture junto a ATC Aviation Services y en 2014 vino la apertura de la oficina de carga en São Paulo (Brasil); Cali y Bogotá, en Colombia; Nueva York, en los Estados Unidos y luego la creación del Call Center Internacional.

2015 fue un año exitoso con la apertura de las oficinas de cargas en Asunción (Paraguay), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Caracas (Venezuela), Quito (Ecuador) y Montevideo (Uruguay).

El 2016 esta cargado de buenos pronósticos para nuestra organización e inició con buen pie con la apertura de la oficina en Bolivia lo que fortalece significativamente nuestra presencia y amplia aun mas nuestro rango de alcance en el mercado. Así cómo el lanzamiento de AWT Airways previsto para el segundo semestre de este año.
